Hi, this is a mock example of a dashboard I created for a recent job interview using PowerApps and a SharePoint list. The idea was to enable employees to be able to visualise what jobs should be worked on first to reduce lead time and so improve on-time delivery.
I created the App from a blank screen rather than a template, simply to learn PowerApps coding. Hope you like it.
The idea was based on the Theory of Constraints (TOC). Simply put if you are delivering late and early at the same time you are working on jobs out of order. Focusing on finishing the jobs that have been around the longest will reduce lead time, which will improve on-time delivery. The board was designed so that only 5% of jobs should end up in the red zone. That then acts as an improvement catalyst. i.e why did those jobs run late, what do we need to focus on improving?
